What to expect?

At the full proposal check (FPC) event, you will receive in-depth feedback from experienced Horizon Europe evaluators and National Contact Points (NCPs) on your advanced proposal drafts.

Organization

To have it evaluated, the following steps must take place:

(1.) You register and submit the latest draft of your proposal by the indicated deadline.

(2.) NCPs evaluate the integrity and completeness of your draft.

(3.) If accepted, evaluators will review individually your proposal.

(4.) Immediately prior to the feedback session, evaluators will exchange their opinions in a consensus meeting.

(5.) Finally, you join the meeting to hear the experts' opinion and engage in a discussion for a maximum of 1h30.

Your FPC session aims to transfer useful knowledge and increase your chances for funding.

Participation at the event is for the coordinator (i.e., one person, mandatory) plus one representative from a project partner institution (i.e., one optional person, highly recommended to take notes). In exceptional cases, the coordinator may name a proxy to participate.

Confidientiality

All participating experts and NCPs will have signed a declaration of confidentiality (i.e., non-disclosure agreement), so you do not have to worry about the confidentiality of your research proposal!

Cost

The FPC service is free of charge for the proposers.

Topics

Please refer to the table below for the list of topics covered in the Spring 2024 edition of the Full Proposal Check. Note that, due to limited resources, we will restrict this selection to Cluster 4 Digital topics only. Under exceptional cases we may consider topics under other Clusters/Destinations.

N.B.: that topics under HORIZON-CL4-2024-HUMAN-01 have been changed. Please refer to the "Call updates" section under the Funding & Tenders page of those topics (e.g., HORIZON-CL4-2024-HUMAN-01-06 -- Explainable and Robust AI).

Selection of participants

The selection of the proposals is made case-by-case and based on the completeness of your draft. The added-value of the FPC is greater the more complete your proposal is. Therefore, we invite interested coordinators to plan the writing of your proposal accordingly, in order to have an advanced draft (almost completed) by the submission date. Note that this year, we have two versions, with different respective deadlines (see below).
